Slides!

Simon's youth group had a lot of fun today!  Simon was the first one on the slide.  He was ready to go.  He told me that it was so scary when he got up there but he was glad he went because it was so much fun.  He said he went down the slide at least 20 times.  Matt told me that they even got him to go on it and he did the slide 6 times!  Matt was one of the drivers for this event.  Simon had so much fun with the Slip n Fly!  Hopefully he'll sleep well tonight!

Football is here again!

Its that time of year again!  Football!!  There will be many more pictures to come!  He's having fun and that makes me happy.

Gotcha Day!

I can't believe that 6 years ago we were in Ethiopia and that it was 6 years ago today that my sons were put into my arms.  Amazing!  I am swelling up with pride and tears as I recall the past years and I am extremely grateful and thankful that God has allowed me to be their mother.

I also spent some time today thinking of their mother.  The heartbreak she felt.  The sacrifices she made and how much she loved them.  Pretty amazing.

Tonight we went out to celebrate.  We found a Groupon for a restaurant we wanted to try and it was fun!  The food was cooked right in front of us and the boys eyes were big as the chef performed his cooking skills and tricks to our delight.
